Material Library
The Material Library is the authoritative catalogue of all materials purchased for a given reporting year. Each entry is identified by a MATERIAL CODE (mandatory) optionally refined by a MATERIAL SUB-CODE. All downstream areas — Product Library and CCF Materials — reference these codes.
Import behavior: incremental — existing records are updated with new data if present, otherwise left unchanged.
FAQ
What happens to existing material records on re-import?
The system performs an incremental import. Existing materials are updated if new data is provided; records not present in the new file are unaffected.
Can I change column order or titles?
No. The column order and layout are fixed.
How do I update existing materials?
Export the current records via Export file, edit the rows, then re-upload.
How do I associate a material with a supplier?
Populate the SUPPLIER CODE column with a supplier code already present in the Supplier Registry. The supplier must be imported first.
How does material code uniqueness work?
A material is uniquely identified either by MATERIAL CODE alone, or by the combination of MATERIAL CODE + MATERIAL SUB-CODE. Both forms are validated by the platform.

Material composition (blocks 1–5)
The composition is split across up to 5 blocks. Block 1 is always mandatory. Blocks 2–5 are required when the cumulative composition percentage of previous blocks is below 100%.
